Severe Weather

In the event of severe weather, or the threat of severe weather, the Washburn Community Outreach Center will not operate (food distribution or the thrift store). Generally, if Rutherford County Schools does not operate because of severe weather, WCOC will not operate.

For both our clients and our volunteers, safety is of primary importance, and the decision regarding opening in the event of severe weather will be made as quickly as possible, and posted on the Washburn Center Facebook page.
