Who We Are
Washburn is truly a COMMUNITY outreach center, supported by volunteers, private donations, and a local clientele. We strive to build a local gathering place for people to connect and build relationships forged in kindness, hope, generosity, gratitude and joy.
Washburn Community Outreach Center is a ministry of Salem United Methodist Church and a 501©3 under the umbrella of the United Methodist Church.
We are located at 2934 Piney Mountain Church Road in Bostic, NC where our drive through Food Pantry and Thrift Store are open every Thursday and Friday 9 am – 1 pm, with the exception of some holidays or severe weather.
